The manual side-shift system is extremely simple and easy to use, all tools needed for this operation are included with every tiller. Our tillers also feature a rugged gearbox, telescopic safety shielding, hinged adjustable heavy gauged tail gate, solid steel center shaft, full size knives, wear protection chain case cover, adjustable depth control skids, exchangeable sprockets for two rotor speeds. The transmission is chain driven in a grease bath. The PTO shaft is equipped with a slip clutch safety.
Manual side-shift
The built-in manual side shift system allows operator to either keep the tiller center mounted behind the tractor, like a traditional unit, or offset the tiller to the right of the tractor. This is particularly beneficial when trying to till over the right tractor tire and closer to obstacles.
Chain transmission
Lateral ASA 80 chain drive transmission in oil bath. Our chain transmissions are oversized specifically to avoid any downtime due to maintenance. Our Chain transmissions also offer over 180° gear coverage resulting in a smoother and better distributed power transmission.
Reversible sprockets
Tillers are equipped with reversible sprockets that allow you obtain two tillage speeds: Standards speed is 231 rpm, Increased speed is 375 rpm.

I have this tiller and I can tell you it is a good piece of machinery. I like the way it slides off to the side, good fit and finish and very well made. The only problem I had is the pto guard on the tiller (the big round black shield) comes off when you lift the tiller to high, the angle of the shaft hits it. Not a big deal at all.

My first day using the tiller….well after losing an hour and half, while messing with the pto shaft…everything went pretty well. Sod that hadn’t been cultivated for 20 yrs, and heavy clay soil….the tiller held up well. I chopped up the sod pretty well…will let that set awhile, and hit it later.

I have a Rotomec tiller I use with my John Deere 2210. I have been very pleased with it except for my own forgetfulness when it comes to placing the support leg in its stored position before tilling. I’ve bent the support leg up pretty good and taken some steel out of two of the tines that ended up hitting the leg. One of the reasons I went with the Rotomec was for the side shift feature but I haven’t taken advantage of that feature yet. I might need the side shift some day should I end up putting in a fence where the garden meets my property line.
